ORDINANCE NO. 2270-1967
AN ORDNANCE TO TRANSFER THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE
DOLLARS AND NINETY-FIVE CENTS ($1029579.95) FROM THE CURELATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEUIENT
FUND, BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. 2 (2-26-262)9 OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES, ALL OTHERS, TO
BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. 7 PROPERTIES, NO. 73 LAND.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana on the 7th day of June,
1965 adopted Ordinance No. 2129-1965, an ordinance to create a Cumulative Capital
Improvement Fund for the City of Richmond, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, all monies deposited in said fund must be appropriated and used solely for
capital improvements, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana now has under option certain real estate upon
which to build a new municipal building, the same being a capital improvement, and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate monies from Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund to Account No. 7 Properties, No. 73 Land of said fund, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for
the year ending December 319 19679 the following money is hereby appropriated and set
apart out of the fund named for the purpose specified, said sum being subject to all
laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expendi-
tures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist tot

SECTION 3. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
pa$sa►ge and approval by the W-ayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.
