AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER THE SUR OF THIRTY-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($39500.00) FROM' DEPART-
MENT OF LAW .BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. 1-2 (1-11-112) SERVICES PERSONAL, SALARY DEPUTY CITY
ATTORNEY, TO DEPARTMENT OF LAW BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. I-8 (2-26-262) SERVICES CONTRACTUAL,
CONSULTING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the City Attorney to appropriate the sum of thirty-
five hundred dollars ($39500.00) to be used for Consulting Services, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works in regular session June 19 1967 approved the transfer
of thirty-five hundred dollars ($39500.00) be made, and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the
various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the
year ending December 319 1967, the following money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named for the purpose specified, said sum being subject to all laws
governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Department
of Law Budget to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that existing appropriations now have unobligated
balances which will not be used for the purpose appropriated.
It is therefore ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that
such unnecessary appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows, and the same is
appropriated to the above named item:

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to
emergency appropriations.
