FUND CASH OPERATING, M,/POLICE DEPA�NT BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. L-29 (7-72-726) PROPERTIES, OTHER EQUIPMENT. WHEREAS, a request has been mope by the Chief of Police for the following new equipment for the police garage: one grease gun, one hoist, one tire changer and three work benches, and WHEREAS, the Police Departmentl,has received quotations for the above mentioned new equipment, and it is found tha there is need of Twenty -Two Hundred ($21,200.00) Dollars to make purchase of sa.d equipment, and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Wprkf and Safety of Richmond, Indiana in regular session June 29 1967 approved that arf.ordinance be prepared for the transfer of monies needed to make purchase of th# following new equipment: one grease gun, one hoitst, one tire changer and three wo-k benches. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDrby the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana. SECTION 1. That for the e��nses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31,�'1967, the following money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named for the purpose specifted,.said sum being subject to all laws. governing the same. SuOb amount appropriated shall be geld to include all expenditures authorized to %r made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by lam. SBC3'IN 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Cash Operating to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist. Amount Reouested Police Department Budget Account No. L-29 (7-72-726) Properties, Other Equipment $29200.00 SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has Aeon shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which wili not be used for the purpose appropriated. It is therefore ordained by a Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that such unnecessary appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows, and the same is appropriated to the above named item: General Fund Cash Operating Reoues Reduction $2,200.00 SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation. SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
