AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR
THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA.
SECTION 1. That the following described territory
be annexed to and declared to be part of said City of Richmond,
Indiana.
Being a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section
Two (2), Township Thirteen (13) North, Range One
(1) West, in Wayne Township, Wayne County,
Indiana, and being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of the
Garwood Road, said point being eighty-five and
eight tenths (85.8) feet east, and eight.hundred
ninety-six and fifty hundredths (896.50) feet
south zero (0) degrees and four (04) minutes
west, of the northwest corner of said Northeast
Quarter, and running thence, from said beginning
point, south eighty-nine (89) degrees and fifty-
six (56) minutes east, and along the present
Corporation line of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
a distance of four hundred twenty-five (425) feet;
thence south zero (0) degrees and four (04)
minutes west, one hundred (100) feet; thence
south eighty-nine (89) degrees and fifty-six
(56) minutes east, one hundred ninety-five (195)
feet; thence north eighty-six (86) degrees and
forty-eight (48) minutes east, fifty and eight
hundredths (50.08) feet; thence south eighty-nine
(89) degrees and fifty-six (56) minutes east,
one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence south zero
(0) degrees and four (04) minutes west, four
hundred thirteen and seventy-four hundredths (413.74)
feet; thence north eighty-nine (89) degrees and
fifty-six (56) minutes west, eight hundred twenty
(820) feet to a point in the centerline of Garwood
Road; thence north zero (0) degrees and four (04)
minutes east, along said centerline, five hundred
ten and seventy-eight hundredths (510.78) feet to the
place of beginning, containing an area of eight
and seventy-two hundredths (8.72) acres, more or
less.
SUBJECT TO: The right-of-way of the Garwood Road.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and

publication as by law required.
