AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER THE SUN OF TWO THOUSAND ($2,000.00) DOLLARS FROM PARK DEPARTMENT
BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. P-57 (6-64) CURRENT OBLIGATIONS, CONTRIBUTIONS 70 RETIREMENT, TO
PARK DEPARTM1X- T BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. P-34 (3-33-331) SUPPLIES, GROCERIES, N.W. 7th STREET
PARK.
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Park Superintendent and approved by the
President of the Park Board that the following transfer of funds be approved, and
WHEREAS, certain extroordinary,�smergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for
various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the
year ending December 319 19679 the following money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named for purposes specified, said sum being subject to all laws govern-
ing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by lap.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Park
Department Budget Account No. P-57 (6-64) Current Obligations to Retirement to meet
the extraordinary emergency declared to exist.

Supplies, Groceries, Northwest 7th Street Park $29000.00
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that existing appropriations now have unobligated
balances which will not be used for the purposes appropriated.
It is therefore ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that
such unnecessary appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows, and the some is
appropriated to the above named items

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
