ORDINANCE NO. 2299-1967
AN<ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-19539 CORWNLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF RICHI+OND, INDIANA APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-19531, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of Richmond, and the Zone map made a part thereof, described and designated as
Suburban Residential the following described territory in Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, to wits
"Being a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section Seventeen
(17), Township Thirteen (13) North, Range One (1) West, in
Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particu-
larly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of
the east right-of-way line of United States Highway Number
Twenty-seven (U.S. 27) with the centerline of a twenty-two
(22) foot wide lane, said point being one thousand three
hundred thirty-six and thirty-seven hundredths (1336.37)
feet north, two hundred forty-one (241) feet west, forty-
two (42) feet north, and four hundred six and sixty-two
hundredths (406.62) feet south eighty-six (86) degrees
west of the southeast corner of said northeast quarter and
running thence, from said beginning point, north eighty-six
(86) degrees east, along the centerline of said lane, fifteen
and fifty hundredths (15.50) feet to the centerline of a'fifteen
(15) foot wide driveway; thence south one (01) and forty (40)
minutes west along the centerline of said driveway, two hundred
five and fifty-five hundredths (205.55) feet; thence north
eighty-six (86) degrees and fifty-five (55) minutes west,
seventy-five and seventy-four hundredths (75.74) feet to a
point in the east right-of-way line of said United States
Highway twenty-seven (U.S. 27); thence north fourteen (14)
degrees and fifty-nine (59) minutes east, along said right-
of-way line, one hundred thirty-nine and sixty hundredths
(139.60) feet- thence north twenty-four (24) degrees and
forty-one (41) minutes east, along said right-of-way line,
seventy-one and eightyLfi.ve hundredths (71.85) feet to the
place of beginning, containing an area of thirty hundredths
(0.30) acres, more or less.
AND ALSOs An easement of seven and five tenths (1.5) feet
in equal width directly east of and adjacent to the east line
of the above described tract for use as a driveway.
SUBJECT TGs An easement of seven and five tenths i7.5) feet
in equal width directly west of and adjacent to the east
line of the above described tract for use as a driveway."
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said territory
to "LB".
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning Ordinance and
on the Zone map be,and the same is hereby changed covering the above described terri-
tory to "LB" and that said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accord-
ingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
PASSED, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this day
