AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER THE SUN OF ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($11,000.00) FROM GENERAL
FUND CASH OPERATING, TO BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY.BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. J-21 (5-51)
INSURANCE.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate sore money for the
various functions of the City Goverment than was appropriated in the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COWMAN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICMND, INDIANA, that
for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending
December 31, 1967, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sus being subject to all
laws governing the same. Such amounts appropriated shall be held to include all ex-
penditures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated the following
specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exists

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose which appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE RICH&UND COMMON COUNCIL that such unnecessary existing
appropriations be now reduced in amounts as follows, and the same appropriated to the
above named items

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5.* This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
