AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-19539 COIWNLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF RICWND, INDIANA APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of Richmond, and the Zone map made a part thereof, described,and designated as
"C" Residential, the following described territory in Richmond, Wayne Court?, Indiana,
to grit:
Beginning at a point on west side of South 13th and "L".Streets, rnnhing
along the south side of South "L" Street west one hundred and twenty-four
11240) feet, thence south eighty feet (So*) to Parry Street, thence along
the north line of Parry. Street one hundred twenty four feet to the west
line of South 13th Street, thence along the west line of South 13th Street
eighty (801) feet to the place of beginning, containing 99920 square feet
and commonly known as 1209 South 13th Street, owned by Chester and Mae E.
Evans.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said territory to
"LB" Local Business.
NOW THEREFOREs
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning Ordinance and
on the Zone map be, and the same is hereby changed covering the above described
territory to "LB" Local Business and that said territory and the use and area thereof
be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval by the Mayor and publications as by law required.
