AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH BEACON PLANNING & CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC
FOR VARIOUS PLANNItNGIENGINEERING PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized planning/engineering
services in connection with various projects in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, Colts Towne Plaza, Suite
207, 41 State Highway 34 South, Colts Neck, New Jersey 07722, possesses the requisite
experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, has submitted a proposal to
provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $5,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of die
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1._ The proposal from Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC for
planning/engineering services in regard to various projects in the Borough
at a total cost not to exceed $5,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(l)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC.
