HomeMy Public PortalAbout019-2017 - Zoning - 19 S 17th Street - Urban Residential to CommercialC7 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA ORDINANCE NO. 19-2017 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS FROM URBAN RESIDENTIAL (UR) DISTRICT TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates a certain property commonly known as 19 South 171h Street, and legally described as follows, to wit: 19 South 171 Street: 53' S PT OM 497 EX 20.5 X 29.8 FT NE COR as an Urban Residential (UR) District, as described on Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designations to a General Commercial (GC) District in order to allow for an office building. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to a General Commercial (GC) District.
