The VFW is requesting the closure of the alley between S. 9 and S. 8 Streets from S. B to S.
C Streets leaving it accessible to the U&I Tavern, the beauty shop and the Marine Corp League
on July 4, 2017, from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm for the VFW Independence Day Celebration. They are
also asking for a Noise Variance for this event.
Jon E. Williams is requesting on July 8, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am July 9, 2017 the closure of
S. G Street from S. 10 th Street to the alley behind their home at 701 S. 10 th Street, for a birthday
and memorial party. They are also asking for a Noise Variance for this event.
The Richmond Civic Theatre is requesting on August 5, 2017 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm the 900
block of East Main and the street directly in front of Civic Theatre. They are also asking to include
the City parking lots across from Civic Theatre, of which has already been approved by Karen
Chasteen, City Clerk, for a festival as part of the Wayne Co. weekends
