RESOLUTION NO. 41
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
DECLARING AND CERTIFYING THE ELECTION OF CECILY HARRIS AS
DIRECTOR OF WARD 7 OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, an election for the office of Director in Ward 7 of the Midpeninsula Regional
Open Space District was held on November 4, 2008; and
WHEREAS, on December 2, 2008, the County of San Mateo Chief Election Officer and
Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder certified the election by submitting to the Board of Directors of
the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District the Certificate of the Chief Election Officer
certifying that Cecily Harris received the majority of the votes cast.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, that, pursuant to and in accordance with Section
5532 of the Public Resources Code, that:
Cecily Harris
Is hereby declared and certified as elected to the office of Director of Ward 7of said District for a
four-year term commencing on January 5, 2009, is duly qualified for the office of Director in
Ward 7 of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, and shall serve as the elected
representative by a majority of the votes cast at the November 4, 2008 general district election for
said office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open
Space District this I Oth day of December, 2008 by the following vote:
