SUBJECT: Compliment from Resident Mr. Diego Goldfarb with Donation to the Bal
Harbour Police Legacy Foundation
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to share with you a compliment accompanied
by a donation to the Bal Harbour Police Legacy Foundation from Mr. Diego Goldfarb, a
resident of Bal Harbour Village. Mr. Goldfarb complimented the professionalism and
dedication of all the officers, support personnel and staff regarding our response to the
COVID-19 crisis. Mr. Goldfarb chose to make a donation of $1000.00 to the Bal Harbour
Police Legacy Foundation as his expression of gratitude to Bal Harbour Village for
maintaining a safe environment.
As you are aware, The Bal Harbour Police Legacy Foundation is dedicated to helping
families in need through community outreach programs. Recently, the foundation was
able to distribute over one hundred and fifty (150) turkeys accompanied by groceries to
families identified by five different churches. Additionally, the foundation will also be
distributing two hundred and fifty (250) holiday toys to children in a school which serves
children living in shelters.
The efforts displayed by our Village team reflect our commitment to the Bal Harbour
Experience, by ensuring the safety and beautiful environment of our community. Mr.
Goldfarb’s actions demonstrate the effectiveness of our community first approach.
