NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
The Brewster Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a (virtual ) public hearing on Tuesday , September
8 , 2020 beginning at 4 : 00 PM . Pursuant to Governor Baker ' s March 12 , 2020 Order Suspending
Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law and his March 15 , 2020 Order imposing strict limits
on the number of people that may gather in one place , this meeting will be conducted via remote
participation . For this meeting , members of the public who wish to listen to the audio broadcast
may do so via the Town of Brewster livestream on Channel 18 . The public are encouraged to direct

The following will be heard :
ZBA Case #2042 : Applicant : Elevation Financial Group , LLC . Applicant seeks a use variance in
accordance with Brewster zoning bylaw 179 - 52 and MGL 40A § 10 to allow re -use of the existing
121 , 096 sf nursing home and assisted living facility, and re - use of the existing parking , as modified ,
located at 873 Harwich Road ( formerly Wingate) for multifamily dwelling use . The redevelopment
and re -use of the existing 231 beds in 154 units is proposed for senior, age 55 + independent rental
dwelling units . The reconfigured units will result in 138 beds in 63 studio apartments , 67 - one bedroom
units and 4 two -bedroom units . The property is located in the RL zoning district , and on Brewster
Assessor Map 63 , Lot 13 , 14 , and 15 .
ZBA Case # 20 - 13 : Applicant : Ronald Nardone . Applicant seeks a special permit in accordance
with Brewster zoning bylaw 179 - 2513 and MGL 40A § 9 to demolish an existing 18 ' x 28 ' barn and
replace it with a 28 ' x 28 ' garage with second floor storage . The property is located at 4 Depot
Street in the RM zoning district , and shown on Brewster Assessor Map 65 , Lot 22 .
