Pursuant to Governor Baker ' s March 12 , 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law and his March 15 , 2020 Order imposing strict limits on the number of people that may gather in one place , this meeting will be conducted via remote participation . Applicant seeks a use variance in accordance with Brewster zoning bylaw 179 - 52 and MGL 40A § 10 to allow re -use of the existing 121 , 096 sf nursing home and assisted living facility, and re - use of the existing parking , as modified , located at 873 Harwich Road ( formerly Wingate) for multifamily dwelling use . The redevelopment and re -use of the existing 231 beds in 154 units is proposed for senior, age 55 + independent rental dwelling units .
