Chairman Jay Jensen called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m..
Board present were, Buchheister, Holland, Klancke, C.B Jensen
and Joanne Yankovich.
The minutes of the July 9th meeting were approved with changes
by motion Holland, 2nd C.B., carried.
Chuck Clayton presented a proposal for a minor subdivision.
Clayton wants 2- 2 acre parcels from the holding and possible
a third division that lies on the West of the Fraser River.
Clayton has a possible sale to the developers of the proposed
Arby,s and Navada Annie food resturants.
Access was discussed at lenght and engineering for access from
804 has been reviewed by Opitz. Clayton to present a plat
of the 3 or 4 parcels subdivision showing that each parcel
has access, showing easments and follow the subdivision regs.
The Arby's proposal was discussed. Represented by Richard Braun,
Robinson and designer Wright, a site plan was shown, along with
piliminary access plans. Access from 804 is planned with the
need of a left turn lane on 804. ROW of 804 was discussed.
It appears that the existing road encrouches onto the Clayton
parcel that is in for subdivision and Clayton will dedicate '•.
the ROW as neccessary at platting stage. Also reviewed was
804 in regards to RWO documents. Unsure of documents exsisting
for the new alignment that the County did back in 79' or 80'.
Board will check into the easment for 804 before any approvals
are given for development of this parcel. Also reviewed briefly
would be any access into the Ranch property when developed and
changes that would be required of 804 by that developer. Jensen
to review this.
A special meeting was called for dug. 27th at 2:00 p.m. for
review of subdivision plat of Mr. Clayton's and additional
review of site plan for the Arby's proposal. M/S/P/ Q.B., Klancke.
Board has just received the draft of the proposed pre-annexation
language for Maryvale. A request for workshop on this document
has been made for the afternoon of Aug. 27th. Board agreed to
meet at 3:00 p.m. to workshop on this document. It appears
that the document will not be substaitially complete for the
annexation hearing the evening of the 27th. It is expected that
the hearing will be called to order and will need to be continued
so that the pre-annexation agreement can be worked on futher.
