A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE: WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City finds that certain premises within the City may be maintained contrary to the provisions of the Municipal Code of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that a public hearing be held to ascertain whether or not a public nuisance exists, NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission hereby declares its intent to hold a public hearing on October 28, 1986, to ascertain whether certain premises situated in the City of Temple City, State of Califor- nia, known and designated as 4831 Willmonte in said City, and more particularly described as Parcel 18 of Lot 10, Tract 9848, Map Book 137, pages 67 -68 of maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, constitute a public nuisance subject to abatement by the City: Ilk That the following conditions maintained on said property may exist ontrary to the provisions of Section 4230 of the Municipal Code of the ity: 4230(i) - Dead trees, weeds and debris constituting unsightly appearance or dangerous to public safety and welfare or detrimental to nearby property or property values. 4230(k) - Inoperable or abandoned motor vehicles stored for unreasonable periods in front or side yard areas which cause depreciation of nearby property val- ues. That abatement by the following method(s) has been suggested: 1) Mow and regularly maintain lawn. 2) Remove inoperative vehicle (TRF 314) from driveway. 3) Remove litter and miscellaneous debris from driveway. " 4) Abatement to be accomplished within 15 days. That the City Clerk shall cause the owner of said premises to be served with appropriate notice in the manner prescribed by the Municipal Code: That the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall cause said premises to be posted in the manner prescribed by the Municipal Code: The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
