The regular meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. Eoard
present c~ere Tim Day, Marianne I~lancke, Sue Buchheister and
Chairperson Linda Dodge.
For review is a special use permit from Mountain Madness, Jane
and Brian D7onroe. These individuals plan a winter business of
snow scoot rentals. The business will operate out of a tent and
have a portable john. Farting, lift bus stop etc. was discussed
at length.
Dodge made a motion to recommend that the Town Board grant a
special use permit for this business with the following
conditions:
1. Sign must have a look of a permanent sign even though
it will be taken down during the summer months.
2. Tent must be keep in good repair.
9. Removal yr operation facilities within 3o days of
closing of the business.
Day 2nd motion, carried.
Also discussed was the possibility of special events, ski jouring
during the western weed: and snowmobile drag races. Board did not
see any problem with these events a part of the operation.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
