AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
REID HOSPITAL and HEALTH CARE SERVICES
WHEREAS, Reid Hospital and Health Care Services has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Richmond Police Department desires to submit a grant application to obtain
funds that will be used to purchase a computer, projector and Power Point
Program, easels and other necessary equipment for presentations and design, and
purchase promotional items, brochures and pamphlets for Richmond Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to Reid Hospital and Health Care Services.
2. The City of Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in
an amount up to Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($6,500.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Police Department, shall be
appropriated to purchase a computer, projector and Power Point Program, easels and other
necessary equipment for presentations and design, and purchase promotional items, brochures
and pamphlets for Richmond Police Department.

of Richmond, Indiana.
