HomeMy Public PortalAboutPCM 1992-01-22FRASER PLANING COMMISSION JAN. 22, 1992 The regular meeting of the Commission was called to order by Chairman Day. Board present were Klancke, Buchheister, Sharpiro, Schmidt, Swatzell and Jensen. Also present were Brown and Winter. Minutes of the previous meeting Nov. 13th were approved as written. Walley Alves advised the Board that he would be tearing down the Old Lighting Liquor building this spring and wanted input on what the Town would like to do there as far as landscaping. He also asked for input on his property as a whole with development design to make it a better lot for future building, maybe vacating the alley, dedication lot 23 for an eventual street connection. But asked the Board to think about how they would like it to look when developed in the future. Board will work on some thoughts concerning this property. Landscaping would be nice for the highway frontage for now. Board reviewed a proposed increase to the parking regulations. Winter stated that during the Winter months with the rental units and tickets issued to tenants it appears that there is a problem in not having enough parking. Board discussed several issues. Small lots would diminish the number of units or bedrooms when having to met 55A6 open space. Offering a credit to open space for more parking requirements or offering a buy off to lot open space towards open space development thru Town initiated measures. Tabled for further discussion and actual lot calculations to determine exactly what 3t means to development. Brown reviewed the revised draft of the business zones language and thoughts. Board will review and work on these at the next meeting. No further business, meeting ad3ourned at 10:00 p.m.
