HomeMy Public PortalAboutPCM 1992-10-14OCT. 14, 1992 ERASER PLANNING COMMISSION The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Day at 7:40 p.m. Board present were Jensen, Klancke, Swatzell, Shapiro and Schmidt. Also present were Brown and Winter. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written. Jensen removed himself from commission for the next agenda item. Preliminary Sketch Plat/SunRiver Condo Garages. Plat represented by C.B. Jensen. Jensen explained that the plan is for the development of property related to a plat vacation that is in process for Sun River Townhomes. Jensen also reviewed a letter received from a legal representative of an owner at SunRiver Townhomes regarding various concerns with the vacation plat as well as proposed development on the proposed vacated property ( parcel B). Items in the letter regarding the vacation is addressed and taken care of with the documents that allow for the vacation and some of the items relate to the new subdivision that will be addressed at and during the process of the plat approval. Phil Peters, legal representative, will be so notified that the concerns will be so addressed. Sketch Plan reviewed. Comments about parking on parcel A, with regards to the garages opening on that side. Shared driveways, parking on parcel B. Board approved the concept of development and advised Jensen to work with the comments and go to Preliminary Plat hearing at the November meeting. Brown reviewed a Performance Zoning concept that the Board may want to look at for the change in the Business District regulations. It would seem to accommodate the need to allow uses under some design concept. Board stated they would like to look further at this idea. Brown will get more information so that we can work with the idea to see if it would fit. Board set Nov. 11th as the next workshop to work on the zoning. No further business, meeting adjourned. ýÿ
