JULY 28,1999
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Board
present were Acting chairperson Swatzell, Shapiro, Coulson, Wirsing, Sanders and
Johnston. Staff present were Trotter, Reid and Winter.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Pinery Townhomes minor subdivision
Wirsing made a motion to open the public hearing, 2nd Shapiro, carried.
Record set with proof of publication of the hearing. Trotter reviewed the Plat and request
for a lot line change. Wirsing made a motion to close the hearing, 2nd Sanders, carried.
Wirsing made a motion to approve the resubdivision and minor development plan plat for
the Pinery Townhomes, MH 52 and MH 53 subject to the following conditions:
1. Application fee paid.
2. School and park fees paid.
3. Any changes necessary from the legal review.
4. Technical changes to the plat pursuant to Trotter's review.
5. Executed Improvements agreement.
Motion 2nd by Sanders, carried.
Ski Broker Apartment Development.
Sanders made a motion to open the public hearing for the Ski Broker apartment
development, 2nd Shapiro, carried. Record was set with the proof of publication.
Trotter reviewed the apartment development. The subdivision regulations were changed
so that this type of housing works over a total use on the ground floor being commercial.
Shapiro moved to close the hearing, 2nd Sanders, carried.
Johnston made a motion to approve the Ski Broker apartment development plat subject to
the following conditions:
1. Appropriate fees paid, discuss school and park fees with Town board..
2. Correct any technical changes that Trotter may have.
3. Improvements agreement executed.
Motion 2nd Shapiro, carried.
Stan Brooks Minor subdivision
Johnston made a motion to open the Public hearing, 2nd Sanders, carried. Record set
from the proof of publication of the hearing.
Trotter asked that this plat review be continued to the next meeting.
Wirsing made a motion to continue the hearing for this plat to the Aug. 25,1999 meeting,
2nd Shapiro, carried.
BOARD CHOICE
Shapiro questioned if Ryder Transportation District has started any bus routing through
the Safeway Parking lot.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
