The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular„on August 4, 1969 with
Mayor Riekena presiding and all councilmen in attendance.
Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved on a motion by
Huisman and seconded by Eckhoff. Motion carried.
The treasurer's report was accepted as read.
On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Van Deest the following bills
were allowed for payment:

Herman DeVries, salary 425.00
Henry J. Grobe, salary 100.00
Henry Hippen, pea rock & hauling 87.30
Universal Welding, filling oxygen tanks
& mis'c welding 94.48

There being no objectors, the proposed 1970 budget was
adopted on a motion by Claassen & seconded by Eckhoff.
Motion carried.
Eckhoff made a motion for adjournment. Following a second
by Claassen the meeting stood adjourned.
