Daniel Ojeda, P.E., Director of Publ orks /City Engineer Josef Kekula, Civil Engineering Associate SUBJECT: On Street Disabled Parking Application Submitted by Marco Rivera RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Public Safety — Traffic and Parking Commission postpone this item to the July meeting. BACKGROUND: At the May 21 meeting, the Commission heard testimony regarding the on- street disabled parking application submitted by Marco Rivera. The Commission requested that the applicant provide the days and times that the applicant receives dialysis treatment. As of the date of the agenda posting, no information was received by the applicant. ANALYSIS: Based on staffs inspection, there is ample on -site parking facilities (garage) and (driveway) at this address and staff does not recommend blue curb. However, in lieu of the blue curb the commission is considering restricting parking for a few hours a week on the easterly side on Grant Ave. at Fernwood Ave.
