ORDINANCE NO. 93-2006
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE
AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR STATE AND LOCAL HISTORY
WHEREAS, The American Association For State and Local History, through the
Alderson Internship Grant, has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, on behalf of the Starr Gennett Foundation has
submitted a grant application in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars
and Zero Cents ($3,000.00) to obtain an internship to work at Starr
Gennett Foundation; and
WHEREAS, a minimum local match of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to accept from the American
Association for State and Local History, through the Alderson Internship Grant, an
amount up to Three Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($3,000.00).
2. A local match is required.
3. Said funds, as awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated for an
internship to work at Starr Gennett Foundation.
