HomeMy Public PortalAbout007-2017 - Special - Zoning Map Amendment - STRICKEN11 1111, RICK EN COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA ORDINANCE NO. 7-2017 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS FROM URBAN RESIDENTIAL (UR) DISTRICT TO LOW TO MODERATE INDUSTRIAL (I1) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain adjacent properties commonly known as 101 South 2nd Street, 103 South 2nd Street, 107 South 2nd Street, 121 South 2nd Street, and 217 South A Street, and each legally described as follows, to wit: 101 South 2nd Street: 27 X 61 7/18 FT LOT 5 J M 103 South 2nd Street: 23 X 61 8/10 LOT 5 J H M 107 South 2nd Street: 40 FT SUB OM 240 LOT 6 J H M 121 South 2nd Street: LOTS 7, 8, 9 & 10 JOHN H MORRIS ADDN & 6 FT N PT VAC ALLEY 217 South A Street: PT LOT 5 J H M as an Urban Residential (UR) District, as described on Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designations to a Low to Moderate Industrial (I1) District in order to allow the properties to be used for construction staging and storage area consistent with I zoning. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above described properties are changed to a Low to Moderate Industrial (I1) District.
