HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 8/4/1975,:�64 The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on August 4, 1975, with Mayor Hippen presiding and Councilmen Huisman, Heinrich, Fairbanks, and Cordes present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Heinrich, seconded by Cordes. Carried. Huisman moved, Fairbanks seconded allowance of the following bills for payment: Net salaries $1374.87 Clary Concrete Materials, pea rock 51.68 Great Plains Gas Co., bottle gas 84.00 Wellsburg Oil Co., gas, oil, supplies 335.05 Jungling Service, gas & oil 161.00 State Hygienic Lab., water & sewer analysis 23.00 Fischer Ins. Agency, fire dept. accident insurance 150.00 Vernon Penning, hauling rock.& snow 1013.34 Delbert Hippen, snow blading 73.50 Hippen Tire & Battery, hauling rock & snow 799.40 Hallett Cons. Co., pea gravel 725.10 Water Tower Paint & Repair Co., 19'74-75 maintenance contract 727.00 Kliebenstein & Heronimus, conferences & legal preparations 44.50 Overton Chemical Sales, filter powder 97.15 Wellsburg Herald, proceedings and claims 47.39 Greene Limestone Co., roadstone 121.40 Grundy Co. Carried. Cordes moved, Huisman 2nd appointment of Sharon Jungling and Karen Meyer to fill vacancies on the library board. Carried. Moved by Fairbanks, 2nd by Heinrich to increase the amount of the town's maximum depository in the Peoples Savings Bank from $100,000 to $200,000. Roll call of votes-- Ayes--Huisman, Heinrich, Fairbanks, Cordes RTays--None Absent --Van Deest Carried.
