Sumrall moved, and Comm. Watson seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the June 8, 2005 meeting as presented. Motion carried: 7-0 3. Ot~ea Forum a) Introduction of Scott Brent, new Planning Commissioaer b) Busiaess aot oa the ageada -None 4. Public Hearing/Action Item a) Conditional Use Permit for as Accessory Dwelling Unit Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 2 Town of Eastom aka 126 Eisenhower Applicant -Don Dreher Comm. Sumrall moved, and Mayor Cook seconded the motioa to open the Public Hearing. Motion carried: 7-0. Planner Trotter outlined the application. Applicants Don Dreher and Pat Morgan were present to respond to questions. Two neighbors were present to hear how parking would be addressed. Following review, Comm. Shapiro moved, and Comm. Watson seconded the motion to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried: 7-0. Comm. Watson moved, and Comm. Sands seconded the motioa to approve the ADU with the following three conditions: 1) The ADU will have direct access to its own utilities and Planning Commission Minutes 07/27/05 Page 2 shutoffs; 2) The Town of Fraser reserves the right to revisit the conditional use permit in the event that the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance or this approval are not being met; and 3) Single ownership of the property and the ADU must be maintained. Motion carried: 7-0 5. Staff Choice There will be a Workshop with the Planning Commission, Town Board, staff and the staff of Cornerstone on Grand Park 1.W (Town Center) Wednesday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The Commission is invited to a Chamber mixer at the Fraser Visitor Center from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the Workshop. 6. Commissioaers' Choice Comm. Sumrall moved, and Comm. Sands seconded the m,otioa to adjourn. Official meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m. Mayor Cook, Comm. Sumrall, and Comm. Shapiro departed; as Board members they recently viewed the upcoming CIRSA video. T. CIRSA Video - "Managing Your Public Officials Liability" Chair Coulson and Commissioners Brent, Sands and Watson as well as Planner Trotter and TC McCandless watched the above-referenced video.
