BOROUGH OF CARTERET TO CREATE A NO PARKING ZONE
ALONG TERMINAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Revival Church Center seeks to establish a facility in the Borough
of Carteret (the "Borough") along Terminal Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Carteret Board of Adjustment (the "Board") has considered the
Revival Church Center's variance application; and
WHEREAS, the Board has approved said variance; and
WHEREAS, the Board's engineer has recommended the creation of a No Parking
Zone in front of the Revival Church Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that there is created a No Parking Zone beginning at the easterly
comer of the intersection of Pershing Avenue and TmTninal Avenue to a point being
35' northwesterly of the northwesterly curb line of Atlantic Street, if both curb lines
were extended.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the above described area shall be painted
yellow and appropriately signed to indicate it is a "No Parking Area."
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Section 254-20 of the Code of the Borough
of Carteret shall be amended to include the above described No Parking Zone.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a copy of this ordinance shall be forwarded to
the Carteret Police Department.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall be advertised as prescribed
by law..
