HomeMy Public PortalAboutPCM 2008-03-26FRASER PLAi`1`i1+G COMMISSION MINUTES DATE: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 MEETING: Planning Commission Regular Meeting PLACE: Town Hall Board Room PRESENT Commission: Commissioners: Chair-Steve Sumrall, Mayor Fran Cook, Vesta Shapiro, Peggy Smith, Phillip Naill, Katie Soles and Scott Brent. Staff: Town Planner Catherine Trotter and PW Director Allen Nordin. Others: None Chairperson Sumrall called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. 1. Roll Call 2. Approval of January 30, 2008 meeting minutes. Comm. Soles moved, and Comm. Shapiro seconded the motion to approve the minutes. Motion carried: 7-0. 3. Oven Forum a) Business not on the agenda -none. 4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding a. Fraser Street and Roadway Minimum Design Criteria and Construction Standards b. Fraser Water Utility Minimum Design Criteria and Construction Standards Allen Nordin presented the proposed amendments to the Street and Water Standards. The PC asked several questions for clarification. Comm. Smith moved, and Mayor Cook seconded the motion to recommend approval of the Fraser Street and Roadway Minimum Design Criteria and Construction Standards and the Fraser Water Utility Minimum Design Criteria and Construction Standards. Motion carried: T-0. 5. Staff Choice TP Trotter discussed the Preliminary Plat for Victoria Village and read the letter from the owner's representative asking for the hearing to be canceled for March 26, 2008. Staff met with Grand Mountain Bank in regarding to their plans for the Clayton property. ýÿ The final Plat for The Village @ GP -Filing 2 is scheduled for a public hearing next month. We have received a final plat for a triplex on Ferret Lane. This is scheduled for a public hearing next month. 6. Commissioners' Choice Chair Sumrall: Cozens Meadow had advertised that they are offering 1/4 share sales. Discussion regarding the same ensued. Mayor Cook: MMC meeting on April 21St, 9-11 in Fraser. Welcome to all. Comm. Smith: none Comm. Brent: Comm. Brent has some concerns about the access road to the library. Manager Durbin is working on this. Comm. Shapiro: Comm. Shapiro had some concerns about the Fraser Quickstop including snow removal and management, parked vehicles, delivery trucks. Comm. Naill: none Comm. Soles: FVP connection and adjacent trails. Comm. Shapiro moved, and Comm. Soles seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried: 7-0.
