appointed. Clerk pro -tern.
P�4inutes of the last meetings held in July were read, and_ it .vas
moved by Luwe se and by Lindaman that same be approved. as read.

Treasurers report was read ar�d .on motion ply ced on file.
Sam Tjaden registered complaint with the council regarding the
uncleanlyness and obstructions in his alley, -
It was moved by Kruse second by Lir_�iaman that the following bills
be paid;

It bras moved by Lindaman second by Lu�are that all delinquent water bills
not pa�hd by August 15th shall be cut off from the property, until
sarxre are paid. l motion carried.
Pdlotion made by Kruse second by Lindaman, that the I�iayor be authorized
to hire a Might I:�iarshall to be on duty from 8:00 P.I�T. until 2;00 A.h.7.
on �Ved_nesday and Saturday nights only, and that he be paid �?.50
for each night. notion carried.

The ppurpose of the meeting vaas deciding what to do about the
dater situation for the Town.
Upon report received from Hoag ��; Ames and caxeful investi���ation,
by the water Corn:�ittee, of the old north tiVell it was declared to
be no good; and the caking being too sriall it v1Tas impossible to
drill further. '
It tivas moved by Luwe and seconded by Lindaman that a ne�v
tiVell be drilled; I�2otion carried.
