A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT FOR THE NOT -TO- EXCEED AMOUNT OF
$30,000 TO RYAN SNYDER AND ASSOCIATES AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has been awarded a grant from the Los
Angeles County Department of Public Health to develop Bicycle and Pedestrian Master
Plans; and
WHEREAS, the City's matching funds to accomplish the task of completing the
Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is $30,000; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has selected
Ryan Snyder and Associates to prepare the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plans; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Snyder and Associates will be invoicing the City directly for its
share of preparing the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes staff to prepare a purchase order to
Ryan Snyder and Associates in the amount not -to- exceed $30,000 for the City's
matching share for preparing the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to sign
the purchase order agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
Section 4. That this Resolution becomes effective immediately.
