Wayne Co. Historical Museum North Service Drive
On April 6, 2018 The Wayne Co. Historic Museum is wanting to close the North Service Drive
between 6th and 7th Street from 8am-4pm to dedicate a new monument to remember the victims
of the downtown explosion on April 6, 1968.
Richmond Farmers Market North Service Drive
The Richmond Farmers Market is requesting the closure of the North Service Dr. between N 6th
and N 7th St from 6am to 1 pm on the following dates: 5/5/18, 5/12/18, 5/19/18, 05/26/18, 6/2/18,
6/9/18, 6/16/18, 6/23/18, 6/30/18, 7/7/18, 7/14/18, 7/21/18, 7/28/18, 8/4/18, 8/11/18, 8/18/18,
8/25/18, 9/1/18, 9/8/18, 9/15/18, 9/22/18, 9/29/18, 10/6/18, 10/13/18, 10/20/18, and 10/27/18.
Then from 2-8pm on the following dates: 7/3/18, 7/10/18, 7/17/18, 7/24/18, 7/31/18, 8/7/18,
8/14/18, 8/21/18, 8/28/18, 9/4/18, 9/11/18, 9/18/18, and 9/25/18.
All businesses along the 600 block of the North Service Drive will be notified before 4/28/18 that
this closure has been requested.

RESOLUTIONS
• RESOLUTION NO. 5-2018 — PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
This resolution is for the purchase of the property located at 110 S. 6th Street so that Fire Station
#1 can expand the parking lot which is currently insufficient at peak use times. This resolution also
authorizes David M. Snow, Mayor, Vicki Robinson, Board President, and Jerry Purcell, Fire Chief,
to execute any and all documents associated with the negotiation of the property.
