Recycle Center is located on Green River Way, off of Waltham Street
Friday & Saturday 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM
Dumping outside operational hours is prohibited!
Residents must show an I.D. — No Businesses / No Commercial
Recycling is collected every other week, it will always be on the same day as your trash day. HOWEVER, you
must follow A and B weeks indicated on the Collection Calendar.
When there is a holiday, following that holiday, your trash will be collected one day later. For example,
Independence Day, WEDNESDAY, July 4th. Monday and Tuesday will be collected as scheduled. Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday will be one day later. If your trash is collected on a Friday and there is a holiday, trash
(and recycling, if it is your week) will be collected on Saturday!
Yard waste is collected on your trash day on the designated yard waste week on the collection calendar.
Excess recycling and yard waste may be dropped off at the Recycle Center all year round.
Below are items that are NOT collected at the curb but may be dropped off at the recycle center:
Hard Plastics
Household metals
Textiles
Electronics
(i.e., cell phones, printers, house phones, ipads, computer monitors, hard drives, key boards, fax machines & cameras)
PLASTICS — (plastic bottles, jars, jugs & tubs — empty, rinse & replace caps) water, soda, detergent bottles and plastic
milk jugs (not the wax coated cartons). Plastics #5 Note: includes yogurt cups, hummus tubs or cottage cheese
containers and medicine bottles. No Styrofoam even if marked with a #61 Plastic Bottles replace the cap then recycle.
Styrofoam is not collected at the curb or the recycle center
- NO OVERFLOW or EXTRA BAGS OUTSIDE THE TOTER -
No Construction Debris / Rugs / Basement or Apartment Cleanouts!
