A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT BET\ryEEN THE VILLAGE AND THE CITY
OF MIAMI FOR FIRE RESCUE, AUTOMATIC AIDE AND
ANCILLARY SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR
AUTHORIZATION AND IMPLEMENTATION; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village and the City of Miami desire to enter into an agteement for fire
rescue, automatic aide and ancillary services; and
\ryHEREAS, the Village Council finds that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interest and welfare of the residents of the Village.
NO\ü, THEREFOREO IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLO\ilS
Section 1. Recitals Adopted. That each of the recitals stated above is hereby adopted
and confirmed.
Section 2. Agreement Approved. That the Agreement between the Village and the City
of Miami for Fire Rescue, Automatic Aide and Ancillary Services (the "Agreement"), in
substantially the form attached hereto, is hereby approved, and the Village Manager is hereby
authorized to execute the Agreement on the behalf of the Village, once approved as to form, content
and legal sufficiency by the Village Attorney.
Section 3. Implementation. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to take any
necessary action to implement this Resolution and the Agreement.
Section 4. Effective Date. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption hereof
