OF CERT.kIN REAL PROPERTY NNITHN
THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
tivHERHAS, the Pdavor and Council of the BOrouQb of Carteret (`Borough ") has
..determined that a need exists . to acuuie.the following identified parcels of real prope,
for sweet improvements, public pw!dno and such other public purposes m are authorized
by law:

the Goveming Bo& has determined that said use is for a public purpose
and will promote the oene -al health and wel a_re of the community: and

of Carer et. as foLlows: -
SECTION 1. The acquisition of that amr and all of the aforementioned parcels of real
propery wimm the Borough of Carteret by any of the foLlowin? methods.
(i) consummation of a purchase and sale contact which is the product of
direct negouatiees with the owners of such proceries, (i) by a mf, grant,
or contribution by any owner of such properties, or (iii) by eerdcmnation
of any such property that is carved out pursuant to the Eminent Domain
authorized Act is hereby and directed for the purposes provided for
her,in, and for such other municipal pur,.eses as may be authorized by
law.
6LI -TION 2. The Borough Attorney, and,'oi other scecial le;ol eeunseL are hereby
authorized and directed to perform or ca.y out or cause to be czrformed
or cart ed out. -any studies, surveys tests, soundings, borings. appraisals,
title searches and title report reviews as reasonably rc —ssary to dete=me
the value of any of the properties, the location and quality of any of the
properties and any environmental matters associated with any of the

properties and to undertaka any action necessary or appropriate to acquire
the aforementioned real properties.
SECTION 3. The Borough A torney, and/or other special legal counsel, are he-by
authorized to negotiate with the property's owner, and the Borough
AComey, and/or other special legal counsel, are authorized to file and
pursue am! condemnation action, as necessary,
SECTION wl. The Mayor and Borough Cleric and such other oiS"cers as may be
necessary are hereby authorized to undertalke any actions and eteecute and
deliver any paper, form, or document necessary or appropriate to acquire
said properties by auv of the methods set fonh in Section 1 of this
ordinance.
