AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
FIRE TRUCKS AND FIR EHOUSE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE
BOROUGH. OF CARTER=, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW
JERSEY, APPROPRIATING $1,550,000 FROM THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND P17D OTHER RESERVES P-ND
GRANTS FOR THE COST THEREFOR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH
OF CIRTERET IN THE COUNTY OF !MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Borough of Carteret, in the County of
Middlesex, New Jersey, herebv authorizes the 2014
Various Capital r¶proveme_nts together with all
purooses necessary, incidental or appurtenant
thereto:
SECTION 2. For said imarovements or purposes, there
is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,550,000 which
amounts are made available as a grant from the Haz-
Nat Association in the amount of $ Sale of
Existing Trucks in the amount of $350,000 and funds
provided as a grant by the Carteret Business
Pa in the amount of $800,000.
SECTION 3. The Capital Budget of the Borough is
hereby amended to conform with the provisions of this
Ordinance to the extent o= anv inconsistency
herewith.
SECTION 4. The purposes described in Section 1
herein =,re not current expenses. These are all
Improvements that the Borough m lawfully undertalte
as General Imorovements, and no Dart of the costs
thereof has been or shall be sp=atially assessed on
property specially benefited thereby
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect as
provided by Law.
