APPROVING EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO
BOROUGH JET VAC TRUCK
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has advised the Governing Body that emergency
repairs need to be performed to the Borough Jet Vac truck; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has advised that said repairs to the Jet Vac truck are necessary
for the Sewer Department to properly maintain the Borough sewers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that emergency repairs be done
by Jack Doheny Companies to the above described Jet Vac truck at a cost not to exceed
$37,524.79 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Borough Engineer and the Borough's Purchasing Department to effectuate the purposes
expressed herein.
Adopted this 13" day of February, 2014
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 14, 2014.
