DRAFT
Credit and/or Refund Rewrite October 1, 2020
Any application for a refund or a credit of a Full Membership must be received by June 30th of the
current membership year or no later than 45 days after a membership fee has been received and
processed by golf operations.
Any rounds that have been played during this current membership period will be valued at the
prevailing green fee in effect at the time it was played and deducted from the membership fee paid.
This amount will be referred to as the remaining balance.
For an AFP to be eligible for a refund of their remaining balance they must make application during the
time limits described above and cannot have played more than three times.
If the AFP has played more than three times but makes application during the time limits described
they may be eligible for a credit. If approved, this credit of the remaining balance will be applied only
towards the AFP’s membership the following year. This credit is non-transferable and expires on June
30th of the following membership year.
All such refunds or credits as described above will be issued upon a vote by the Golf Commission.
If the AFP cannot continue their membership and does not meet the time limits set above, a refund or
credit can only be issued by a unanimous vote of the Golf Commission. The Commission can request
documentation supporting the application before a vote is taken.
