RE: Recommendation to approve Change Order 41 to Contract # R-37463
Time Extension
On April 19, 2018 the INDOT Area Engineer, Mike Prather, suspended work on the
Stellar Streets Project due to ADA ramp design issues. Revised plans were prepared by
the project design firm Rundell Ernstberger and submitted to INDOT's ADA Technical
committee for approval. The ADA ramp design issues were resolved and a notification to
return to work was issued by INDOT Area Engineer, Mike Prather, on June 1 lth, 2018.
Due to this work stoppage, INDOT has approved the extension of the construction
contract with Milestone Contractor's L.P. by 51 days. The new project completion date
is June 71h, 2018.
