AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AMENDING THE 2012-2013
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , BY RECOGNIZING REVENUE AND
APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS WITHIN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS SALES TAX E
FUND.
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson contributed $955,000 from Pa rk Project Greenway
Improvement Funds in the Capital Improvements Sales Ta x Fund as a portion of t he
local match for project STP-31 00( 507) the Missouri River Bridge Pedestrian /Bicycle
Lane addition in fiscal year 2009-10 and ;
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Transportation has now closed and completed auditing
the project, and ;
WHEREAS , the final total cost of the project and corresponding local match requ irement was
less than originally budgeted, and ;
WHEREAS , the Missouri Department of Transportation is refunding to local matching fund
contributors a prorated share of the savings .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The 2012-13 budget is hereby amended by recognizing $33 ,3 14.12 in refund
revenue within the Capital Improvements Sale s Tax "E" Fund and appropriating the f unds as
indicated on Exhibit A attached hereto .
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
