HomeMy Public PortalAboutPC Resolution 1996-12-01 Approval of the Town of Fraser's Three Mile Plan Annexation Plan by the Fraser Planning Commission as Authorized by Colorado Revised StatutesTOWN OF ERASER PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION 12-1-96 A resolution certifying to the Board of Trustees, Town of Fraser, Colorado, approval of the Town of Eraser's Three Mile Annexation Plan by the Fraser Planning Commission as authorized by Colorado Revised Statutes. WHEREAS, the Town ofFraser is required by Colorado Revised Statutes 31-12-105 (1) (e) to have in place a Three Mile Annexation Plan prior to the completion of any annexation within a three mile area from the existing municipal town boundaries, WHEREAS, the Three Mile Annexation Plan will be used in conjunction with the Fraser Com~iunity Plan Volume I and II, and the areas depicted as the "secondary growth areas" have been discussed in detail regarding land description, land use, utilities, transportation, community services, ..~;.., space, parks and recreation, WHEREAS, the Fraser Planning Commission has reviewed the Three Mile Annexation Plan, and has deemed it necessary for the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the current and future inhabitants of the Town of Fraser, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ERASER PLANNING COMMISSION THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMN~ENDS THAT THE ERASER BOARD OF TRUSTEES ADOPT THE THREE MII.E ANNEXATION PLAN (Exhibit A, B, C attached) as a planning tool for the Town of Fraser.
