IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Lexington Street,
The Town of Watertown has contracted the services of Commonwealth Construction and
Utilities, Inc. to repair a section of the sewer main between 125 and 133 Lexington Street and
install double -grated catch basins at 153 and 165 Lexington Street. This work is part of
ongoing efforts by the Town to improve our sewer and drainage system infrastructure and is
scheduled to begin WEATHER PERMITTING on Monday, August 26, 2019. The method of
repair will require the Contractor to replace the sewer pipes by excavation methods.
Please note that during the construction period there will be no parking allowed on the street
and driveway access may be interrupted. The Police Department has been notified of the
construction work in the area.
The Contractor will attempt to accommodate all residents to minimize the impact during
construction.
