HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
June 8, 1999
The Hillsborough Town Board held a Budget Work Session on June 8, 1999 at 7:00 PM in
the Town Barn. Town Board Members present for the meeting were Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr.,
Commissioners, Frances Dancy, Kenneth Chavious, Richard Simpson, Evelyn Lloyd and Catherine
Martin. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson, and Finance Director Sherry Carter.
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr., called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM.
1. PUBLIC CHARGE
Mayor Johnson read the Public Charge.
2. ADDING ITEMS TO THE PRINTED AGENDA
No Items were added to the Printed Agenda.
3. AUDIENCE COMMENTS
A. Matters on the printed agenda
There were no audience comments.
B. Matters not on the printed agenda
There were no audience comments.
4. BUDGET WORK SESSION
Town Manager Eric Peterson led a discussion regarding various amendments to the proposed
budget which the Board had requested.
No action was taken.
5. ADJOURN
Upon a motion by Commissioner Simpson, seconded by Commissioner Chavious, the Board
moved to adjourn at approximately 8:50 PM by a vote of 5-0. The motion was declared passed.
