Explanation: Work on the project was suspended from Thursday. April 19, 2018 thus Monday, June 11, 2018. Time Extension for the Suspension
of Work = 51 Days. See Explanation Tab and attachment in Header Tab for further details. This Time Extension is being created per the direction
of the AE, Mike Prather. Verbal approval was given to proceed with Issuing a Time Extension based on the original suspension of work directive
issued on April 19, 2018. Approval was given to proceed with processing of this CO at a progress meeting held on July 19, 2018, A copy of the
meeting minutes and those is attendance is attached for reference.
Whereas, the Standard Specifications for fts contract provides for such work to be performed, the following change is recommended.
General or Standard Change Order Explanation
Return to work was requested to begin on Monday June I I th 2018. The Suspension of Work was from Thursday April 19, 2018 to Monday, June
112018. It was agreed by INDOT City of Richmond and Milestone that 51 days be added to the contract. PM HT Pharn has been notified of the
change order. See Attachment in Header for further details. Additional documentation included with this CO Milestone formal request for days, a
copy of the work suspension letter Issued by Mike Prather and a return to work directive letter issued by Mike Prather. 51 calendar days
represents the total days of work suspension between April 19th. 2018 and June 1 1th, 2018. Divide the 51 calendar days by 5 work days per
week and then added the 10 weeks to April 1st, 9019 thus arriving at the new contract completion date of June 7th, 2019. CO #1 does not
include the (partial) costs incurred during the work suspension period; as previously discussed, the (total) costs will not be known until sometime
in 2019; CO #1 should be for adding time to the contract in order to establish the new contract completion date of June 7th, 2019.
