ORDINANCE NO. 65-2018
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2018 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2018 on October 16, 2017, with Ordinance 45-2018; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1
et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2018 budget be amended as follows:
A. Parks & Recreation Fund Q 19)
1. Delete $ 20,000.00 from
Park Fund 219.19.190.190.000.3990 (Other Contractual Services)
Balance as of 12.12.18 $40,734.80
2. Add $ 20,000.00 to
Park Fund 219.19.190.190.000.1198 (Salaries & Wages -PT)
