Home My Public Portal Aboutr 14-072No. 14 -72 APRIL 10i 2014 Dale of Adoption f AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CNIE ASSOCIATES, RE: 2014 TAX MAP REVISIONS WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional land surveying services in regard to 2014 tax map revisions; and WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and WHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: The proposal from CME Associates for land surveying services in regard to 2014 tax map revisions, at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 is hereby approved. 2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract Pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(l)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair and Open process as authorized by law. 3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department and CME Associates. Deliverables shall include: - Borough Tax Assessor: One (1) full size set and one (1) reduced size set; - Borough Clerk: One (1) reduced size set; - Director of Municipal Engineering: One (1) reduced size set; - Borough Building Department: One (1) reduced size set; and - Middlesex County Clerk: One (1) full size set.
