ORDINANCE NO. -1966
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No.1472-1953, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
approved April 21, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1 -- WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known
as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, by the
Zone Map, made a partthereof, designates and described as "A"
Residential District the following described territory in said
City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
Lot Number Nineteen (19) in Berry Field Sub -Division in
the Northwest Quarter of Section Twenty -Eight (28), Township
Fourteen (14), Range one (1) West, North of the City of Richmond,
as shown on the recorded plat thereof in Plat Book Seven (7),
page sixty-seven (67), and,
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the
use classification of said territory to "Local Business District."
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2 -- It is hereby ordained that the use district on
the Zone Map be and the same is hereby changed for the above
described territory to "Local Business District" and that said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3 -- This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publication
as by law required.
