AN ORDINANCE AIVENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, CGVIllTONLY ISNOTrril AS. THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE C ITY OF .RICHMOND, INDIANA, AF."ROVED A?RIL 215 1953
BE IT ORDAINED by the 'Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1 =- WHEREAS, Ordinance, No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Richmond, Indiana, by the Zone ,,Tan, made apart thereof, designates
and describes as "A" Residential District the following described territory in said
City of Richmond, Ka,, ne---County, State of- Indianna,,. to -wit
Part of the Soutr_east quarter of Section 35, Township 14 North, Range 1
? st, and a part of the northeast quarter of Section 2, Townshi-p 13 North,
Range 1 ?-est-.. Beginning at a nin 139.42 rods south and 6t .15 rods west of
the northeast corner of said Section 2, and,.at the southeast corner of
the real estate deeded.-t'o Margaret M. Cox and Charles'Cox, :thence north
and along the east line of the said Cox real estate 201.3 rods 'to an iron.
pin in the north side of the Cumberland Road; thence north 81 degrees east
29.5 rods to an.iron pin; thence south 71 d.e,g:rees eas-t 37.2 rods; thence
south. 195.5 .rods; thence west 64.15 rods to the mace of beoinning, con-
taining 80 2/3 acres; Being the same real estate conveyed by Robert L.
Hudson and Hollys -P. -Hudson, his wife, by deed dated June 4, 1954, and
recorded in Deed Record 260, .page 1�55, of the Records -of the Recorder of
Wayne County, Indiana. Exce-oti ng therefrom so much of said real estate
as has heretofore been taken for the .right-of-way of U.S; Highway #L10.
.ALSO exceoting 'therefrom all of the aforesaid real estate lying south of
the nrese,nt Richmond Corporate limits, vtich boundary runs through said
tract - on the co urse - of the so uth. line of Section 35.

same is hereby changed. for the above described territory to "General Business District"
and that -said territory and the use and area, thereof be 'regulated accordingly.
SECTION, 3. -- This ordinance shall be in full f d.rc,e and: effect from and after its
passage, aonroval. by,the Mayor and Publication as by law required.,
