BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA: SECI`ION 1: That the City of Richmond, Indiana, does hereby accept the gift and donation to the said City of Richmond,. Indiana,. by Earlham -College,of the following,describ ed real estate in'Wayne-County,. Indiana, to -wit: Being part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) West and part of the Northwest Quarter of Section .Thirty-three (33),. Township. Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) West and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of the northwe st'quarter of Section Thirty --three (33),. Township Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) West,said point three hundred .seventy-two and nine tenths (3.72. 9) feet south of the northwest corner of said quarter and said point also being the southwest corner of Lot Number Four Hundred Twelve (412) Official Map of The City of Richmond, Indiana, and running thence south. eighty-eight (88) degrees and fifteen (15) minutes east, along the south line of said lot number four hundred twelve (412) a distance of twelve (12) rods; thence north, five hundred twenty-four and sixty-one hundredths (524. 6.1) feet, more .orless .to a point located twelve (12) rods south seventy-two (72) degrees and five (5) minutes east of a point twelve and fifty-two hundredths (12. 52) rods directly north of the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of Section Twenty-eight (28),. Freeman, whose donation of the above lands to Earlham College made this present gift possible, its thanks for this. most generous, gift and donation.
