A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A NEW CIGARETTE PERMIT
TO CASEY'S GENERAL STORE #2667, LOCATED AT 403 STEPHANS ST., TIFFIN,
JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS: CASEY'S GENERAL STORE #2667 has submitted application and
required payment to the City of Tiffin, the local jurisdiction as required by Iowa Code, for
the 20015 -2016 cigarette permit issuance effective March 1, 2015 through June 30,
2015,
AND WHEREAS: the said application appears to be in proper order and has been
signed by an authorized individual representing the entity applying for permit and
required payment is accepted by City Clerk of Tiffin, Iowa,
AND WHEREAS, the authorized signing individual states that they hereby bind
themselves to a faithful observance of the laws governing the sale of cigarettes and
tobacco products within the boundaries of Tiffin, Iowa,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City
Council hereby authorizes the issuance of the 2015 - 2016 ANNUAL CIGARETTE
PERMIT TO CASEY'S GENERAL STORE #2667,expiring June 30, 2016.
On this 13th day of May 2015, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Council person Kahler introduced RESOLUTION 2015 -072 AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF A NEW CIGARETTE PERMIT TO CASEY'S GENERAL STORE #2667
and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Council person Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Upton, Bartels, Havens.
Nays: NONE
Absent: NONE
WHEREUPON, with five votes for approval, Mayor Phillips declared that Resolution
2015 -071 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED, AND APPROVED THIS 13TH DAY OF MAY, 2015.
